My "stoner" years was from 1998 - 2003. I properly quit on new years day 2004.
At my peak in 2002 I would have 2-3 cones before I got out of bed I think I was smoking 25+ cones a day for a few months. Then I had phases when I'd quit for a couple months, back on for a couple months.
Since then I've had maybe 2 cones total, and both times I spewed. Nowadays my girlfriend will give me some pot her dad grows and I'll roll us a small single paper to share (no spin).

I've severely cut down, after 2 years of smoking 2 blunts a day. It was a rough transition, but my current GF helped a lot. I went from having to pack 4-5 bong bowls a day, to packing one bowl every couple of weeks. It really cuts down on your spending when you quit. What really helps for me is my plant which I'm in the process of drying. I will surely save hundreds of dollars with just this one plant.

I've only ever smoked a bong once, I put about what I'd put in a joint, hit it in one shot, it hit me immediately and I just had the giggles for about 2 hours. Pretty fun.
