Missed the beginning of the debate. I'll call the VP debate a draw, it was unexpected for Biden to be so aggressive and rude. At least Romney was more respectful when he attacked Obama.

Edit: Ryan did accomplish being likeable more among viewers. If Romney wins, it may help Ryan's future of being a potential President once he becomes more known.

Ryan lost. Biden was aggressive sure, he was rude, but he still beat Ryan. I saw the break-down of the scores, they took into account Biden's apparent disrespect, he lost points for it. But despite this Biden still won the debate. Your argument is akin to saying "despite the score team Y played the better game". Which, though subjective, may be true. But it still means they lost.
You're right though. Ryan did okay. Just okay. He didn't crumble, he stood up to it. But he wasn't the golden boy you hoped he'd be and he didn't show himself to be impressive in any way. He was an adequate debater and showed he'd be an adequate Vice President. There's nothing wrong with that but you're only kidding yourself if you think he's anything more.
