As much as I'm a fan and used to live in Tassie, sometimes I think he should just retire. Better to burn out than fade away... though I'm more the latter myself
He's still good, just when he doesn't have the pressure of captaincy on his shoulders, after he gave it to clarke he made 3 or so 100s, and some decent scores. And I agree he's getting old, but he should still be given the opportunity, especially since he's more consistent than some others in the test side (sadly).
