Act of Valor - 6/10. If anyone expected Oscar-caliber acting from a bunch of active duty SEALS, they were delusional at best. As an action movie, it's not bad. I thought the most realistic part of it all was the site exploitation leading to intel that drives new ops.
Hunger Games - 7/10. It was OK, but not up to the level all the raving hype would lead one to believe.
Wrath of the Titans - 3/10...maybe. Zero plot or character development. When the special effects weren't cartoonish, they were tolerable. Otherwise, horrid.
John Carter - 7/10. Haven't read the book, so I don't know how honest it was to the original story. That said, it was a pretty decent sci-fi/fantasy flick. And the chick was smokin' hot.
Tron: Legacy - 5/10. Awesome special effects, particularly when compared to the original (duh). The tie-in to the original was tenuous, I thought, and the CGI for the protagonist (I can't recall the character's name) was distractingly poor. Serious plot holes/inconsistencies.
