Yep, but not before passing a trillion dollar stimulus package, bailing out GM and foisting Obamacare on us. Why didn't they overturn DADT (it took an executive order) or DOMA? The Democrats suck and all their talk about socially liberal issues is a bunch of bullshit. Obama promised to end the wars and he runs around bombing Libya and Yemen and Pakistan. He promised to respect the states on marijuana issues and then sent the DEA to shut down all the dispensaries. He promised to be more liberal on immigration and then deported the most people in our countries history. He talks a good game though.

It's all relative, which is why people that are generally close to each other politically argue so often. To Republicans, Obama is damn near a communist because they believe he is to their left. To Democrats, Romney is the monopoly man with his top hat, cane, and his penchant for evicting old ladies. In reality, they're not that far apart.

For the purposes of this compass, they define the extreme right as free market economics, and the extreme left at communism. The top is where Pol Pot or Hitler would be, and the bottom is where you'd find your anarchists.

Why I say the quiz is useless is because it's incredibly difficult to pinpoint where people would really sit on it. Most people could pick a quadrant, or the middle, and say they reside there, but beyond that, again, it's all based on their view point. Both Obama and Romney would sit in the upper right quadrant about 1/3 from the center line economically, and about halfway up the authoritarian line.
