Hi, Yes you can drop a tank from an airplane. One of two ways, by parachute ( a very large one) or by lowering the planes back door and getting very low to the ground and pushing them out the back.
I do not have any pictures of this, but the museum has in its collection two tanks that were readily dropped this way.
An M56 Scorpion and an M551A1 Sheridan. The scorpion did very well being dropped as it is made of aluminum, but the Sheridan had some problems due to the weight of the turret. Seems that the landing was a bit much for the tank and many turrets ended up crushing the vehicle.
