From 18-22? If you don't count actively chatting on facebook and stuff, not that many. I was in the army at the time and people are from all over the country, so it would be difficult to see each other, even if we had anything more in common than circumstances. 22 was nine years ago. How many people are you still friends with from when you were 13?

It changes as you get older... People move away, people get married and have kids, people fall out of touch. My wife has a bunch of friends from high school but they've been seeing each other less and less every year. She mostly sees them at weddings and baby showers and stuff now.

Maybe it's different now in the age of facebook and instant communication, but I pretty much lost contact with everyone from high school when I joined the army. Shrug. I had, I think, four people from high school at my wedding.

I never carry anything in my back-pocket but the occasional piece of paper. Still it's niece to have that extra pocket space.
