He probably felt a moment of vertigo before being engulfed.
I just wonder what it must have been like. I doubt it was vertigo. It's not like the floors below were collapsing, it was collapsing on top of him so he would have just heard a huge noise and suddenly have been crushed. I just wonder what made him scream like that. Plus the reaction time to scream when he figures out what was happening, etc. I'm not saying it's fake, I just am interested in figuring it out.

if you don't think he's suffering, either from being in solitary (and yes, that is suffering) or from stuff we don't know about, you're out of your mind

oh yeah, but I'd still like to hear the word "Guilty" coming from a jury's mouth. I mean christ it's been ten years, at this rate he'll probably die before he goes to trial.

He said that he was on the 105th floor. WTC 2 collapse started around floor 77.

I always thought the twin towers were fugly. Massive 70's style bricks with zero elegance.

I recall feeling a sense of impermanence in regards to the WTC during my childhood. For some reason I always compared the thought of the present with images of a past NY that lacked the towers. Then, only eleven years alive and the buildings were gone overnight. The towers are a blip on the timeline of the city, as they are in my mind.

I'd love to push those people down a flight of stairs.
What would that solve.

Hope it was painless for him.

Weren't only 6 people pulled out of the rubble?
Smoke inhalation was probably the worst part.

911 conspiracy =/= ATF fast and furious.
