Just took my car in to get emissions inspected today and it passed, am I supposed to send the pass-form into the DMV or is this supposed to be another stupid piece of paper that floats around in my glovebox?

I hate front wheel drive cars. They corner a little better, sure. But if you want to reverse park or even U turn they're much worse. And hill starts puts pressure on the rear tyres so the front lose traction and it's harder to move. And forget about a 50/50 weight distribution.

There wasn't anything on either the inspection notice or the passing form that indicated anything about sending it in if you're the current owner, it just says it must be kept in the car and then given with the title if I decide to sell it and then the next person gives it to the DMV along with the title for registration.
I'm just keeping it in a drawer in the house. I already verified it on the Maryland DMV website that my car passed and is emissions-legit through 8/20/2014 so the DMV definitely already has it on record that it passed, no need to have the paper in the GB.

If you lose traction instead of side-swiping something and killing yourself by impacting the non-crumple zone'd door, you end up sliding into it front first. Cheaper to insure Front wheel drive cars as you die less. Or so I was led to believe.Jay wrote:

But rear wheel cars generally have larger engines, that's why the power goes to the rear...

front wheel. you don't need things like a long heavy driveshaft and all the other various lines that need to run from front to back to support the back wheels doing the spinning.
