Join IP bug

last night i was playing a wake server, and one of my clan mates wanted the IP to join me. So i gave it to him and he said it didn't work. I was making sure i was giving him the right one.. still didn't work. he finally got on by searching the server name

Later, i lost connection to the server and i couldn't remember the name. So i asked him for the IP, and i also remembered the IP.. it wouldn't connect with the Join IP part. So i had to search the name just like him

So, my question is, anyone else getting this bug?

No he's right, this has happened to me loads of times.

I find a decent server, press TAB to get the IP & port, give it to my mate via Roger-Wilco, he repeats it back to me to make sure it is correct, and next thing he is like, "WTF, i'm joining a different map to you!"

The IP displayed in game doesn't always seem to be the correct IP.

Pretty sure it was standard port, But ill try later tonight thanks.

Some servers, especially EA ones don't show the correct port in game. EA official A will be running on 16567, while C will be running on 16569 etc.
