i can not connect to the account server, this has never happened before. i have the new patch installed. and like i said never had a problem.

i have had that problem in the past. firstly have you tweaked any thing, now i dont mean installed aimbot or any thing like that but you can disable the movies files files and that causes problems if you disable the one that says "welcome to duty" all the others are fine....... secondly how long have you left it, the master server takes ages to updates every one and is really slow until it has done because it has no peace..... instead of getting time to update properly all the 12 year olds are on there when the patch comes out seeing wats new and fucking it up for every one....... so try to connect and leave it for at least 10 minutes m8... try that and Pm me or reply if theres any more problem's
Is your firewall stopping bf2.exe from accessing the Internet? It may not have done this previously, but because your bf2.exe is a 'changed program' your firewall may be treating it as a 'suspicious' program
Gamespy takes down ALL of BF2 online every week for 2 or so hours for 'maintenance'. Or they used to anyway.

I think account server is down bro as I get filling everyone with new patch wants 2 play, thats why its taking it's time, try anging on for a bit see if that sorts it, if it dosent repost and I will see what I can do for you.T0rr3nt wrote:

server wasnt down friends on xfire were playing. i just reinstalled bf2 and patched it again. now its fine. im guessing something goofed in the patch or somethingbadhq wrote:
