All I know is that Comcast reliability is shit down here. When we finally upgraded to FiOS three or four years ago, our Comcast had been dying for a period of 5 minutes at a time every half hour or so for almost a month. Even when it was working properly it didn't have enough bandwidth for me or my brother to play XBox Live and my sister to have more than two tabs open on Firefox at the same time or everything would slow way the fuck down. I've seen all sorts of people with funky TV problems that still have them too. Still better than DSL though obviously

I haven't had a single problem doing anything with FiOS though, I love it and I would never go back if I had to move somewhere and had the choice.

Lol 20MB/s broadband from Virgin. The company I work for now will give me free broadband as long as I work there, but their fiber service isn't available in my area yet, so I have to wait until around new year before I get it in. I'm fine with waiting. I don't pay anything for this broadband since my flatmate is fine paying it himself.
