I'm looking after my dog at the moment. She lives with my folks, (my childhood dog I got when I was 10, she's still going nearly 15 years later but I no longer live with my folks.)
While I was at work today apparently she broke out of the property and was wandering around the road. Someone driving along noticed and recognised her from when I walk her in the morning but was unsure where she lived. So she picked her up and took her to the pound to get them to identify her owner and home from her registration tag. Upon doing that this woman dropped the dog back at my folks' place and checked to see if all the gates were shut. I had no idea anything had happened until this woman, Rachael, rang me just before to make sure I was home and the dog was okay.
There are still awesome people in the world.
