I always find it funny that Australia seems to house the most dangerous shit on Earth, while New Zealand has all of the pudgy little helpless birds. It would just take one aussie to bring over a couple of snakes to kill off pretty much everything on the islands.

Pfft, that only happens to people who are allergic. Besides, take a few steps into the swamp/forest/undergrowth around here and you're bound to step on a few of them. Hell, I went swimming in a local spring the other day and one was just hanging on a wall.

come back to me when you guys get a real spider? black widow? fgt spider. we have a version of them called redbacks, same family, almost identical, very aggressive though. This is a real spider

our spiders are cute

only if they are bad spiders. real spiders ambush their prey. Like hiding under fridges waiting for you to go to the fridge with no shoes on, or under your covers at night, or in your shoe, or in your hat, or in the garden.
