Are the meanings of the words "prerequisite" and "perquisite" reversed in the UK?Uzique wrote:
over here being able to read and write in your native language is considered a perq of all standard education.
no, but in this case of sarcasm, they are interchangeable for comedic effect. of course it's a prerequisite - it's one of the sole aims of education!
although considering the standard of reading/writing quality that hurri talks of, it seems british standards would be considered quite the perq in america.

The girl at the gyro place has huge boobs. I struggled to look away as she bent over to write my order. She knows exactly what she is doing with that shirt. She is a bit chubby though. She has freckles and a few pimples on her face. Despite that it is not a bad face. I had to explain to her what a hummus gyro is. It took a minute for her to comprehend 'you put the hummus in the gyro'.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Well okay. I just hope she hurries up because I am parked illegally.
I exploded my hummus at the description of her gyro if you know what I mean and I think you do. I'm talking about having an orgasm at the thought of initiating sexual relations with this woman.

I think because gyros usually refer to a sandwich with meat (shawarma) in it?Macbeth wrote:

The Gyro place near my school makes them without a problem. The place near my house looks at me like I have two heads until I explain to them the very simple act of putting some hummus in there with the other stuff.
