What we know of Zimmerman's frame of mind, he more than likely didn't go over there to start a conversation. Even if Martin did attack Zimmerman, he must have done or said something to make him attack him. I've never been attacked by a black person for asking them directions..

But even if Martin did attack him- he disobeyed a police order that led to a death. Charge him with something.
No, he disobeyed a dispatcher telling "We don't need you to do that." Go look up "Denver man killed following 911 instructions" and tell me everybody should do what the dispatchers say to do.

And last I checked, attacking someone is the crime, not asking questions/saying something that makes someone angry.
If he had stayed in his car he wouldn't gotten killed like the Denver man. The Denver case is not even in the same ballpark as the Martin case.

It could be argued that the 911 dispatcher is an extension of the local governments law enforcement apparatus.

I already said I agreed with that statement when AR posted it, doesn't make him guilty of anything.

All I know is that I'd be more comfortable walking down the sidewalk with Trayvon and his bag of Skittles than hanging around Zimmerman and his trusty sidearm.

Pulling over your car, getting out with a gun, and confronting the person you end up killing nullifies your claim of self defense. According to the recording of Zimmerman we know he thought Martin was a criminal. It's not rocket surgery.
Where did you get that information from? Last I heard the only account of what happened came from Zimmerman, unless of course Martin resurrected, it was Easter recently...

So from the only person alive that can tell what happened is what we have to rely on. He says he got out of the car to go follow him, then stopped and went back to his vehicle when Martin confronted him.

But I guess your right, as we all know juveniles never do anything wrong and are incapable of committing violent assaults, let alone murder.  Actually teens are the most mentally stable, predictable and non-aggressive group in the world.

I'd be interested in seeing if the break-ins in the area have stopped.

I revert to my statement that you like dill are both ignorant of Florida laws.  There is no law in Florida Statute that requires one to obey a 911 operator.  Most of them aren't even sworn LEOs.

Interesting that the grand jury is off the table.  I believe that rules out murder 1.  The State's 'special prosecutor' apparently is calling a press conference in 3 days.  Again, I'll wait and see what is said then.  Until then, have some more kool-aid and watch some sharpton and jackson.  After all, this was purely about race... Just ask holder.

Things got really strange with the attorneys dropping Zimmerman. They never met Zimmerman face to face. They don't know where he is. Most of what has been referred to as 'zimmerman's testimony' has come from them. And a bunch of other crap.

So if I have a CCW and get out of my car to talk to someone, I'm confronting them with a deadly weapon? What in the actual fuck. Unless you are assuming he got out of his vehicle, gun in hand (which would be a statement you couldn't possibly back up) you're saying that the mere possession of a gun indicates hostile intent.

The bottom line is that we don't know what happened between the 911 call and Martin's death. Zimmerman could have gotten out of his car, gun in hand, maybe he did confront and kill Martin. Or maybe Martin attacked Zimmerman when he was questioned. Or maybe not. But talking out our collective asses doesn't prove anything, except how easy it is to sway opinion when the media starts releasing false information and people like Dilbert call for trials by mob. Maybe you should be a bit more objective in your opinion forming.
Getting into a situation he simply didn't need to get into, with a loaded gun in his pocket, does not count as self defence IMO, that would be a Police action and he's not a Police Officer.
Or can any American cruise around, pick fights and shoot people?

Zimmerman was happy to subject Martin to trial by vigilante, why shouldn't he be tried by the mob, or another vigilante?

Since I see it sits fine with you, letting Zimmerman hang without knowing what happened, I won't argue with you any further. May I suggest a vacation to Salem though? I think it might suit you.

Trayvon Martin shooting: It's not George Zimmerman crying for help on 911 recording, 2 experts say

http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/201 … -certainty

Site above also has the audio available, if you care for a listen.
In which is is stated:

Tom Owen, forensic consultant for Owen Forensic Services LLC and chair emeritus for the American Board of Recorded Evidence, used voice identification software to rule out Zimmerman. Another expert contacted by the Sentinel, utilizing different techniques, came to the same conclusion.

[...]

The software compared that audio to Zimmerman's voice. It returned a 48 percent match. Owen said to reach a positive match with audio of this quality, he'd expect higher than 90 percent.

"As a result of that, you can say with reasonable scientific certainty that it's not Zimmerman," Owen says, stressing that he cannot confirm the voice as Trayvon's, because he didn't have a sample of the teen's voice to compare.

[...]

If Zimmerman's self-defense claim is tested at trial, legal experts say a forensic identification of the voice in the 911 audio could be key evidence, either in Zimmerman's favor or to his detriment.
Sure, your statements saying you're "waiting to hear how this is reviewed" et al sound nice, and it's kind of cute. Rhetoric aside, you still asserted a Fox News report of some "neighbour" is somehow a better case for argument of innocence than a voice recognition expert who has testified in murder trials before who stated that Zimmerman is not the one screaming for help, which contradicts Zimmerman's statement to police.

But hey, I'm not saying he's guilty here. Let's just wait for all the facts to be reviewed first...

Why hasn't the black community used this tragedy to address deeper rooted social problems within their race. Violence, glorified criminality and gangs are synonymous with black culture. How come no one like Al Sharpton or MLK Jr. or the NAACP using this as an opportunity to express concern with the state of African Americans....why is it always some one's fault....why don't they address their own issues and start to change their own culture and move away from connotation of criminals.
