that venue is prolly the best club in london right now. sound-system to space ratio is perverse.
oh and i just remembered that the american chick i brought back to mine spilt a glass of wine all over my vinyl. most of them are drying out.

nah the more robust sleeves are pretty fine. a few of the generic white-sleeves are pretty crinkled up though. it wasn't a massive amount of wine, really. but gotta dry the vinyl to make sure there ain't no damp damage. it's all good.

oh and the bass-bins in that system actually mean you can't breathe if you stand in the right spot. right near the back where the sub-woofers are, you stand in this sweet spot where all the mid-range and treble is coming from in front of you and the bass is coming from directly behind and below you. it hits you right square in the chest and you have to regulate your breathing in between the pauses between bass/kick drum. it's funny. but actually feels kinda suffocating. add that to any substances involved and you've got some serious micro-management related body issues going on. funktion one sound-systems put out impressive levels of sound.

This year I've had no classes before 10am, no classes on Wednesday, and no classes on Friday.
Pretty cushy.

Still job hunting. I meant for fall semester. If I don't get a job I'll just do summer school.
what are you majoring in? MIS?
MIS and Supply Chain Management (Logistics)
Interesting they actually have a degree for that now (SCM). I'm an SCM! If you lived in orange county I could get you a paid internship working under me hahaha
Sweet. Yeah it's becoming one of the hot business majors I believe. All my friends who are/did SCM say they loved it. A guy I know (SCM and International Biz double major) is gonna do a co-op with Johnson and Johnson starting in the middle of the summer in Orange County actually! Lucky sumbitch.

Yes move to the other side of the country to do an internship at a small shipping company. No offense to Ken but I think you could find something closer to home..
whatever brings a person to aspire to or be curious about logistics/shipping management? i mean other than crushing poverty or lack of imagination

I would never pursue this as a degree, but I am contemplatinG eventually taking an MBA course. I would go finance-related, but there are a lot of jobs in logistics related fields. Global economy, blah blah blah.
