After uninstalling all mods and reinstalling a dozen times it's still broken.
I tried fiddeling with the settings, turned the high def textures on and off. Nothing worked. I'll probably contact tech support one of these days.

Did you remove the folder and the stuff in appdata/local after the steam uninstall?

I could do another full sweep, who knows, i might get lucky and remove something i previously missed
e: just uinstalled on steam, removed the folder in my documents containg save files etc and the local directory (in the steam folders).
Installing again now, but i doubt this will work. I could be a bug that came with the latest gfx card drivers. Using an ati 5850 if anyone has experienced any bugs with the ati drivers lately.

Try running your reg cleaner afterwards. If you try things like tech support forums, good luck. They'll most likely say you pirated it.
You'd think that after the first 50 or so evil black wizards and bandits you killed that people would be more cautious about running up and trying to stab you in the face.
