EA's track record on worker well being has improved greatly over the past decade. There was a big shit storm around 2003 about a women who made a blog about problems her husband who worked for EA was having, but since then their hasn't been any evidence of anything resembling worker abuse.Kampframmer wrote:
As far as video game companies go, EA isn't that much worse than most other big players. The things people claim make EA so much worse happen in every single other big video company as well (and worse).
But EA has been reported to treat their employees quite poorly, but once again, theres companies doing a much better job at that than EA.
Once again it's a popularity contest about which one gained the most media attention on their wrong doings. EA got a lot about their customer service after origin and because of this, and some more, they managed to knock activison of video game industry cunts #1 spot for now, even though theyre all equally bad.
As soon as activision does something stupid we'll all go back to claiming that theyre the devil destroying the industry.
Bitch please.
AT&T actually affects real life problems though. EA sucks because they provide low quality entertainment and push it off as good.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Or the fact that they're sitting on unbelievable amounts of money and won't invest any of it back into their infrastructure until it becomes absolutely necessary to keep up with the competition. And then they penalize customers to lower the bandwidth usage and increase profits.Poseidon wrote:

AT&T should win just based on the contract bullshit + shitty service that comes with it alone.

Yeah, I never quite understood how buying electricity under another companies lines worked. My mom buys from Washington Gas I thinkHurricane2k9 wrote:
Pepco doesn't really have any competition. Even if you get your electricity from something like Washington Gas Electricity or CleanCurrents it still comes over Pepco's lines.
It's like that for all cell phone companies. The whole system is a racket that is overlooked.Poseidon wrote:
