But I think speedometers normally show slightly over the actual speed to make sure that they never show below the speed you're going (so you can't accidentally speed).
anyway the question was if you're going at 80MPH how long will it take to get to 80 miles, so the wheels and speedo don't really come into it xD
The speedo is calibrated for the tyres at the correct tyre pressure (read: circumference), so any change in that and the speedo will be incorrect. If the question was based on the speedo she would have a point, and congrats to her for considering it.
