for some reason on the online menu where it has multiplayer, single, options etc, it says my version is 1.1.28 yet i have the chat option to request the vehicle drop when i'm inside of a game. wtf is this all about

that version is not your patch its your VERSION....patch has nothing to do with that....if you patched you get that option, if not...then no

Just look under community -> custom games , there are all game mods listed with their version number and there it reads version 1.3 for BF2 and SF if you patched your game properly.
its said that for every update since 1.12 anyway.. thats the least of our worries considering the server browser is royally sodomised
Its pretty much the only wording in the whole game that is encrytped in with the game and isnt a part of localization files weird that they did that but whatever
