Err because every time I see a clip from this show or catch it while channel surfing it makes me cringe?

Like I pointed out a few weeks ago- it's a poorly written show wrapped in a zombie cliche

i feel the same way about true blood and the wire

I like the wire but I do a massive eye roll whenever someone talks about how "realistic" the show is.

Trueblood does suck nowadays. The writing and acting has gone down every season. The first season had potential but after that it just became after after

its probably in the air or got into their system through zombie fluids they've gotten on them. Who knows, maybe the dumb shits are still drinking the well water or ate that cow or some other infected meat.

Shane was actually supposed to be dead by the time they got to the farm if they were to have kept closer to the story from the comics. It was also supposed to be Shane doing the killing and Shane's rising from the grave was to be discovered further in the future.

I see a lot of you only watch the show and never visit forums, watch the Talking Dead, or involve yourselves in any of the other community discussions about the show. I understand you have lives though.

So here's the deal for those of you who want to know what happened to Randall and Shane.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
At the end of the first season Jenner whispered something into Rick's ear before they got out of the CDC which was about to esplode! The people who read the comics had already found out that everybody was infected by an "airborne" entity that was causing them to turn into walkers after they died. The bite of a walker does not cause you to turn, that only kills you and something else takes over once you're dead.

TLDR: Everybody is infected. Bites only kill you, the "virus" reanimates you after death

People don't know what is causing the humans to reanimate after death but based on the MRI footage from TS-19 (Jenner's late wife), some people in the real world who know a thing or two about brains are saying it's being caused by parasites which can lay dormant and suppressed by the immune system until death. Another thing is that the MRI photo shows a certain region of the brain, which in real life is the section that controls hunger. Coincidence?

So when Randall's neck was snapped, and Shane's heart stabbed, they both reanimated since bites are not required to be a walker.

cool loose end if you ask me.

Disappointed Jenner didn't tell the Atlanta group to scavenge fuel and bring it back to keep the generator running longer. They could have siphoned the gas from their vehicles as they'd been getting gas all along that way. Could have bought them enough time find more vehicles to siphon and so on.

Meh, how long has it been since the zombies came along? Fuel only lasts for so long. I don't really think anybody is making more for them, by third season it should be cowboys and zombies.

No it would be epic! They have to drive out and get gas while fighting off walkers. They have to scavenge supermarkets and gas stations, search houses, etc. It would have been really cool. The drama spent looking for sophia could have been spent fighting off walkers and scavenging gas, and the drama at Hershel's farm could be inside the CDC.
