so is there any rhyme or reason behind falling damage in this game? I shot a guy right in the chesticles with an L96 and he immediately jumped off his perch, which was the top of a 6 story building. He hit the ground and ran off like gaddamned cat. twat the fuck? I hop off the first floor of the construction site on Sharqi and lose 75% of my health.

Wow I've actually been able to pull off some decent bolt-action sniping in this game. I'm feeling pretty and am impressed with myself since I'm usually awful at it. Guess these skillz can pay the billz if you know what I mean and I think you do.

One thing that's annoying is how a .50 cal bullet can't go through a little sheet of metal in one of those sea containers. I'm gonna have a Shifty fit over it. Douchebag is hiding behind that thin piece of metal, I fucking know he's there, so I shoot at it and it manages to stop the bullet. And it's not like I'm several km away either. More like 60m.

i think shipping containers are actually a lot thicker than you think. i would hide in one if i was being shot at.

not to mention they are made of steel which will defeat soft lead everytime. it would take the velocity and denseness of the depleted uranium rounds from an a10 to fuck it up. which would be pretty sweet. dont lie, you know you want a handheld 7 barrel gatling gun.

Why didnt they contract out advertising on the containers? Could of given the space up to a charity. I would of offered to signwrite them of course. They'd have to shut a server down or something for me to get in there, Im thinking of Kharg Island, 'docks' flag. Bit of a health + safety issue here, me working there with fricking jeeps wizzing past, choppers dropping out the sky etc.

90% of time I only play:

Kharg>Metro>Baazar

On PS3 you get official Ea/Dice servers which run the same rotation with a kick of 400 secs if idle; I think.

If I wrap one up and go out my garage I get kicked, it takes longer than 400 seconds, so I start all over again.

I close my eye and even now, I still see Metro

Seems very niche then since you'd either A) be better off with an assault rifle/smg in close quarters or B) you're suppressing and want the extra bullet velocity and punch 99% of the time, or C) you're on a bipod.
