i got a pat on the back and some good food truck tacos after passing my driver's test. still car-free 2.5 years later.
My mom bought my brother a used SUV for his college graduation. I didn't cry.

my friend didn't graduate high school and he still has the car and motorcycle that his parents bought for him

what would be the point in spending all that money on lessons, only to not be able to do anything with the skill you've learned at the end? You could put the money to better use ..
in my opinion, I did it the wrong way around, luckily it turned out better for me.

ive gone 5.5 years, 3 license levels and already had to renew my license and i still dont plan on having a car for years.

I gave up on economics and just settled on becoming a teacher
it's a fucking requirement for business majors. never mind that I'll probably never ever be using this knowledge (I'm an IS and supply chain management double major, not a finance or accounting major) of money and banking. i should have at least taken the easiest course instead of the one that sounded the most interesting. our options are intermediate micro, intermediate macro, or money and banking and I picked that one. which just so happens to have the lowest average grades of all three -_-
