To import a car that isn't 25 years old, you'd essentially have to import 4 of that vehicle to do crash test ratings with, even then DOT could still deny you the use of the vehicle.
Luckily there's a bill out to change it to 15 years, making it so I can own a Civic type-r that much sooner.

The XR6 is a fairly normal car. Check the FPV GT out 335kw (450hp), 570Nm torque of Supercharged V8 goodness.

the Pontiac GTO version is ugly, can't say how it drives though obviously. the Monaro VXR we had in the UK was amazing though, you'll be looking for the nearest roundabout with one of those
