It's not, I only have a 2nd gen iPod Touch so I don't have iOS 5 which would allow me to sync it that wayDauntless wrote:
If your iPod/iPhone is set to sync wirelessly I think it starts up iTunes whenever your device is in within range.
Maybe you should turn that off if you don't use it, or only turn it on when you want to sync.
