i checked the file content of "eagamesbf2- 2006online_contentbf2af-p atch-1_3_full.eam" in the cache folder from EA downloader - it says:

unlockrange = 2006 05 24 2099 12 31
downloadrange = 2006 05 24 2099 12 31

so,no patch today (in germany, in other countries this may differ?)

I have the same thing and I'm in the UK. I would guess that means the patch will be out tomorrow on the 24th May. If you don't believe me look at the numbers - they're dates, backwards. The downloader applied an update only yesterday so I guess it's been added only recently.

Anyone out there got EA Downloader and not run it in a few weeks/days? Check this file before you do and we can see how recently these dates have been added.

mmmm roof Hummvees, I suppose the upside of that would be putting gun turrets where ever you like.

Looks like you can get more out of these files:

shortdescription = BF2 Patch 1.3 - Full
downloadsize = 448725000 (roughly 428Mb)

shortdescription = BF2 Patch 1.22 to 1.3 - Incremental
downloadsize = 84276000 (roughly 80.4Mb)

Correct BUT when its gone Tommorow here in UK, Germany etc.. it's still TODAY in US.

They are between 5-7 Hours Behind. So theretically it IS released today.

Means maybe us Euro's staying up beyond midnight to see if released

Oh well. 9 hours to go.

the only interesting thing about armored fury is the a-10,and the USI mod covered that pretty darn well.

Nope, I think the new brand of choppers, especially the Little Bird, are enough to keep me interested. Plus, who doesn't want American maps? Alaska, Pennsylvania, midwest somewhere... lol, it's gonna be awesome. The A-10 is just a bonus, in my opinion.
