BF2S Forums Let's talk helis

To help with soloing I binded the seat switch buttons to my gaming mouse. It allows me to switch to gunner/thermal vision at the push of a button which helps with the time i get to knock out infantry but when i press the button i binded to switch back to pilot it doesn't work and i still have to push F1. Weird.

also i hate how long it takes for the helicopter to regain its movement after you've switched out of the pilot seat for like 3-4 seconds. I've crashed so many times trying to master it lol.

I practiced doing this yesterday, I can tv effectively but the hit detection is shit. I'll directly hit a target and the actual missile lags between 1-2 seconds after the initial "impact"

and when you have a friend on the other team in the mobile AA.

The mobile AA isn't as beastly against a Viper with Guided Rockets and/or gunner with Guided Missiles as it is against infantry.

I don't even sweat the mobile AA on Wake.  I can usually take it out at just under 800m with 2 guided rocket salvos.

Got fed up with never being able to use little bird & z11 thanks to only a few maps having it and people always taking them. And then when I was in one, I didn't have anything good unlocked. Really sad, but I flew around in an empty server capping flags. Even better, shot heli with RPG, hopped in and repaired from passenger seat. Counted towards scout heli points

Play a few rounds with Jord as your scout heli pilot, and you'll have the first 2-3 unlocks in no time.

I stopped doing that quite a while back, but the fact I was in the top 10 in the world is definately on my CV.

It landed me my job when I told my boss how I grinded davamand peak with a kd ratio of 15+

Not quite, only in unemployment could I find the time necessary amount of time to make it into that elite club, the top tenners. And boy was it worth it, I had it all and threw it away.
