I'm just saying that we often intervene in situations where it was an internal conflict that didn't involve crossing national borders.
If one nation starts invading other nations, then intervention is easier to justify. That's why the first Iraq War was easier to make a case for.
It was different the second time around and with Afghanistan. Somalia was another questionable intervention.
