Even though many of them are outdated or cheesy or broad or mainstream, they still had a huge impact on the music of today and the state of the genre. My tastes have grown and expanded, and there are artists that I'll listen to for a bit and then move on. But some of these guys, Kraftwerk, Orbital, Underworld, Leftfield, KLF... never get sick of them, they've got real staying power.
