Nah, not going to fight her this time.
Have argued about it, spent many sleepless nights thinking of "fair" solutions, etc.
I'm just done this time.

Step daughter joins the military in a few months, then our little daughter starts school in September, then the wife can get her ass back to work.
If she hasn't decided on her own to fix things this time, then she's decided she would rather spend time in her pretend world and not the real world.

Now, to keep my head on straight over the next few months...
and NOT find a girlfriend (can't be setting a bad example for my little girl), and perhaps get back in shape.

Too bad the Army isn't fond of late-30's prior service sergeants.
I could really use a damn vacation someplace where I get to blow things up and shoot back.

As for the whole needing a car thing, what about the other girls you've talked about but never asked out? Whats the excuse there? Get yourself a bike and get the fuck over there and ask her out. #1: It's not 4 more years, it's just a few credits here and there. Just English credits. I have like one credit left or some crap like that. So I have to go back to school for it. When I get into the military I'll do some studies in computer oriented jobs cause that what I want when I resign. I'd like to serve at least 2 enlistments.

Which other girls I've talked to and never asked out? I hope you guys understand that I don't drool over a different girl every week. There are a lot of pretty girls out there, and if I'm single and find one attractive I'll want to ask her out, get to know her, and if I start liking her then start a relationship. I don't look at a girl and instantly want a relationship, just a date. "Test the water" if that makes sense.

Anyways, I saw her today but I was so freaking busy I couldn't get a chance to talk to her.

I was busy. I was helping out a friend when she came by and I didn't get a chance to talk to her. It's a long story, but anyways guess I'll see her next week, damn it

it can be either getting them first.. shit, I won't lie. I've even been the one who has. It just really depends on how things progress. They are your friend after all.. and then hanging out with them, getting close, hitting it, and watching as they go to eventually meet another person.. well, it kind sucks (sometimes). ah.. i've had four or five fwb's. Naturally it really does depend on how much you see that person. When i say friend, I'm not just talking about 4 am booty calls. I'm talking about someone I see more than once a week, hang out, watch movies n shit together. Most of the time there's a chemistry that develops beyond wanting to jump bones.

I can think of two myself that i felt .. erm..like it went to something more. Despite having an understanding prior.
