What was I supposed to link? A super secret link to his best and most popular album? Oh wait we'll get into another argument about which Herren Album was the best.

post a youtube link like everyone else does, so we can actually listen? you're posting wiki links as if no one's ever heard of prefuse 73. he's one of the most popular electronic artists in the world. pretty much every single one of his albums has been massive. recommend a song on the basis that you like it, instead of pointing us to a wikipedia as if we havent even heard of the guy.

excellent audio recording from probably the best sound artist in the world, chris watson...

recorded using contact mics the train journey from the atlantic to the pacific coast across south america

then edited and looped using analogue gear and watson's perfect mixing to create a 'narrative' arc within each song, and across the record as a whole.

such a fantastic, evocative work. love reading to it, extremely peaceful.

if you're a full-blown slowpoke like me listen to Richie Hawtin's DE9: transitions and get your mind blown.

Make sure you listen to the original Decks, Effects, and 909, too. I was addicted to this track from it when I first heard it. And if you're into the business of cutting and snipping, you must listen to Joris Voorn's Balance 014 mix.

hahahah 2012 and recommending richie hawtin. oh wow. even the cool kids hate richie hawtin now, that's how old that stuff is.

also that sort of stuff is impossible to fully appreciate without mind-altering substances. minimal just makes no sense unless you're tripping balls.

minimal techno was 'the' hip thing before dubstep. so maybe in 2007/2008. now you're just a neckbeard.

Go on then, spec me some rare obscure electronica?

I already have everything by the usual suspects, BoC, Woob (Paul Frankland), Autechre (like listening to a cat being microwaved), BOP, etc

If Ae sounds like a cat being microwaved to you, maybe "rare obscure electronica" isn't for you.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/preorder/le- … 05604?ls=1  Air announced Feb 7 for release on the new album.. influence is George Milies 1902 movie Trip tio the Moon.

Yay sounds cool.. but did Air realize the 2011 movie Hugo is all about Milies????

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16262815 <-Trip to the moon, restored
it's been 100 years since that movie was released.. might as well shine a big light on it

You NEED to listen to Consequence's Live for Never and Test Dream albums. NEED TO. NEED. As in, it's necessary.
