lol the Guided Shell is so beast. It's like a Javelin attached to my tank except better since it can lock on to tanks on it's own. Just got out of a couple great rounds with Nexus on a high ticket airmaps server http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/ba … 176921914/ where I was using the Guided Shell + CITV + SOFLAM + Javelin. These are some great tools that I never really appreciated until now.
I wish I didn't have to choose between the LMG and the Guided Shell. I want both on my tank.

If you progressively attack tanks (e.g. as infantry in close combat situations around flags), you'll have a hard time though, since the several seconds you need to lock on, you'll be in a line of sight.
And since a lot of cover is destructible, it's easy for the tank to get you.
