yeah mcnulty (dom west) is a thespian-english old etonian, which is like the highest class of toff we have here in this country. he put on a pretty good baltimore swag. i love the scene (in series 1 i think) where mcnulty has to go undercover as a british businessman to get into that prostitute ring... now that is good acting... he's a posh english bloke acting as a drunken irish-american doing a bad english accent. so many levels!

Season 2 actually, and yeah, it was nice acting, switching from his original brit accent to the Baltimore accent then again on an anglo-irish one (not sure about that).

oh damn the wire is just the best fucking show of all time. i tried to get into breaking bad and shit and mad men and all these other 'big' shows but none of them are the same. i get bored after like 2 series. i can watch 2 series of the wire back-to-back.
