Battlefield 3 - Main Thread

Everyone kept saying that the game was unplayable in 64 man servers.
It never really bothered me until i played wake island 64.

What a clusterfuck. It wan't exactly a great map in BF2, but at least i always had fun playing on it.

Do not play 64 wake.

I love the Battlefield franchise, I've been a fan since '42, but the stability issues with this game are unparalleled.

First attempt to log into a B2K server resulted in BSOD. Second attempt resulted in "BF3 has stopped working." sigh.

Having the "game content not found" fucking issue, so can't play this thing...

It doesn't even show on Origin, and Bf3 says it's up to date when I want to update and dl Back to Karkand

Not to mention that I had to wait more or less 20 minutes for the confirmation e-mail from Origin, whereas the confirmation mail from Paypal was immediate...

Must have gotten lucky; I had no problem logging on and playing.

I am enjoying the fact that many of these people have never played these maps before. I never get MVP medals, but I got a bunch earlier today.

I'm sure this will change once people start to get better and learn the maps.

B2K is pretty good; I like it so far.

What's interesting is the amount of people unfamiliar with these maps whining about the Conquest Assault mode on the Battlelog forums. I guess it's surprising to me to see so many people that aren't familiar with these maps. Must be a lot of youngins playing BF for the first time.
