Anyone get anno2070?
I had the same problem on my 1st playthrough, you can give him a pistol, a smg or an assault rifle, but at that point in the game your inventory is likely overflowing with stuff that is more usefull than a spare weapon you don't use. If Deus Ex should have been the type of RPG you seem to want it to be, they would have had to make it openworld, not much point in storing stuff if you can't get back to it when you need it since the story has moved you somewhere else with no way of going back when you want to.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
e: *Also, in one of the missions you have an option give a 10mm pistol to a guy. I had a heavily modded 10mm pistol I didn't want to get rid of, and a 10mm pistol was nearby on the ground. What I had to do was drop the one I wanted to keep, pick up the other one off the ground, give it to the guy, then run through a hail of gunfire to pick my own back up.
A normal RPG would merely have you pick up the fresh 10mm pistol and give that to him, but noooooo. Frustrating.
I bought Deus Ex expecting a sneaky-shooter with RPG elements, the game delivered plenty on all fronts. I'm not saying it didn't have flaws...

Because I didn't want my inventory overflowing with weapons and can afford not to with a stealth build, I only take a heavily modified 10mm, tranq rifle and more recently that cone of electricity gun. So when it came time to give this guy a weapon, that's all I had to give. Even if I had been carrying the other choices, chances are they'd have been modded and damned if I was going to give that asshole a cherry on top as well.
Not being able to carry two of the same weapon backfires in these situations. A really easy solution would have been "'tap' to take ammo and 'hold' to take weapon" functionality, usable in or out of the inventory interface.
Oh yeah, and again...the game really needs storage boxes. Everything looks like crap piled on your floor.

I just downloaded it. Getting a weird bug where it'll run at 60 FPS solid, then all of a sudden it'll drop to 4 and I can't get it any higher. People on Steam forums say it's due to an nVidia performance profile setting, but I'm on AMD. Any ideas?
Bastion in the steam daily deal. Everyone, get it now, it´s fantastic!

Everyone who plays it absolutely loves it, yet the trailers and screenshots make it look so "meh"...Sisco wrote:

And since I did, he helps me later. Devs still could've handled inventory a bit better.

Played a bit Rome Total War today. Game still rocks. I would kill for a RTW 2 and considering that they just finished a Shogun 2 and there is already a Medieval 2 I think Rome might be coming up.
Would love if that were true.Macbeth wrote:

I played countless hours of MP, despite how shitty gamespy is and always will be.
What was your favourite tactics in Rome?
I used to have an army of full legionaires and just "buffalo horns" my enemy. Forget archers and horsemen. I'd just march up in formation, counter any cavalry chargers and then envelope the infantry with my superior numbers.
Just overwhelming the enemy with your legions like that was easy thankfully because of how awsm the legions arm in terms of stats. The only armies who you can't pull that off against is the Greek and armies with Elephants.
In both RTW and MT2 I never used archers except for defending settlements or as mercenaries. In RTW I would run a 3-1 Legion to Cav formation and use the cavalry to flank their infantry or push off their calvary. Solid, and very common for the time formation. Works 9 times out of 10.
In MW2 I would go for a 2-1-1 Infantry, Spear, Cav army. Keep the spears on the outside to protect the infantry and use the Cav to attack other cav and flank. I only ever used heavy infantry and Cav. I never learned how work a light army like some people are good at. Late game go for a tercio type formation with pikes, a little infantry, and many guns.

It is, it´s the DRM that was spawned in hells deepest pits.
ass creed 2 just seemed to progress the story no further than the first game.
except for introducing an entire new guy about 300 years ahead
yeah no it totally didn't advance the story
