Hi there!

I now have a tiny piece of duct-tape on my screen,it really rocks!

It's the shape of the top of the SVD's chevron and it really helps!Especially on night maps,we all know the problem in SF with nightvision,dark green target and dark green crosshair...but not with the little extra-crosshair on the screen.
I just can tell everybody here to check this out,it turns out to be sooo useful with so many different weapons.
You'll be surprised when you can actually see all the impact-points of all the different guns in iron sights mode.
This is awesome for pistol headshots,grenade launcher kills,estimating bullet drop,etc,etc...

Give it a try,just take a really tiny piece of black duct tape(or even glow in the dark stuff if you have it),cut it to size with a razorblade and position it carefully in singleplayer mode on your screen.You'll be surprised what difference it makes.

I swear there is no bullet drop. I could just BARELY see this guy on the roof on sharqi, I mean I could just barely see him, I aim at his face with the L9 (supposudly the rifle with the biggest bullet drop) and got a nice headshot. I don't see where you get this, and a video of this 'bullet drop' would be nice.

There is bullet drop.

Yesterday on Smoke Screen I got headshots on nearly 400 meters,I had to aim a half - 1 centimeter above the head of the target.

Just ask Books,Sinn Fein or some of the other experts,there is friggin bulletdrop,at least on ranges beyond 200 meters.
If you directly aimed at his face you probably hit his chest or feet and he was already wounded.

And the duct-tape is just a tool to help estimating the bullet drop,just like in Sniper Elite,where you actually say that the 8th bar of the mildots hits at around 200 meters.In Sniper Elite I totally owned every server because it was sniper versus sniper all the time and if you knew the bullet drop you would always hit dead-on target.

I did this months ago, with a tiny tiny piece of scotch tape, then you a bic pen to make a single pin point.
I never aim in with sniper or rocket lancher.

You don't cut the LCD,just cut the duct tape on your desk and then place it on the LCD!
On a LCD-screen it might even be better because you don't have the distance to the pixel like with a conventional monitor.

Could you post a screenie of it ... if its not too much trouble Used to have duct tape on the screen on Ghost Recon (X-Box) but that was to make the game harder as you couldn't tell when enemies were close by.

Just imagine the SVD crosshairs,it's like a little triangle the shape of the chevron's top.

Doesn't really matter anyway,you can chosse whatever shape suits you best,during my TacOps-clan days I had a lot of different shapes of duct tape sticked to my screen,from pixel-sized dots to extremely thin stripes.
