there are remarkably few single player games with more content than oblivion.henno13 wrote:

It certainly has its flaws, but almost all of them have been fixed with mods.
Yea I'd say its worth it.
Bought the GOTY last christmas for a good price and I've gotten my time out of it.

I just bought skyrim.
I too never played an ES game before I bought Oblivion in a sale. And I found it to be super shite. Gave up on it after 6 hours or so.henno13 wrote:

There´s no denying though, that it has a massive amount of content and if huge freedom in an RPG is your thing you might enjoy it. You can´t go too wrong for that price.
I finally beat L.A. Noire. What a meh ending after a really, really good last span of cases.
At least RDR did the..
Spoiler (highlight to read):
whole "kill the main character" thing correctly.

I'd say buy Skyrim instead, and if you love that, then maybe Oblivion... Don't worry, steam has Oblivion GOTY on sale like once a month...
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Oblivion GotY is well-worth $6, unless you're so sick of Skyrim by the time that you're done that you won't want to play Oblivion. You don't need to anyway, since Oblivion isn't a direct prequel.
Play morrowind. I honestly didn't like oblivion that much. Mods saved oblivion.

Cool Company of Heroes story:
Derpy teammates in any mode can be frustrating, I guess.
wtf is up with Ubisoft's studios...

What's next? They won't release their games AT ALL because they are afraid people will pirate them?
I don't really care about either game, but this is getting rediculous...

That's hilarious XD
How can a company have such stupid people in charge?

Without PC users to bitch at, they'll be stuck with simply bitching at second-hand sales. Maybe all new console games should be irrevocably personalized to specific accounts.
Ubisoft, burn moar bridges.
Oh? Steam's still here. What now?“When we started Ghost Recon Online we were thinking about Ghost Recon: Future Solider; having something ported in the classical way without any deep development, because we know that 95 per cent of our consumers will pirate the game.”

right so how many years away are we from affordable virtual gaming in your opinion? (not this wii BS)
What is your Spaghetti Policy Here?
What A Long Strange Trip It's Been

Maybe they should introduce a DRM system where every player has a unique micro chip required to play - implanted in their head.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

There's the inherent fallacy, blatantly visible:unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Those 95% are not their customers until they have actually bought the product.
Ubisoft shouldn't even calculate like that.
They should rather produce games that are so good, so hyped, so viral or so addictive that more than 5% of all potential buyers will gladly throw their money at them and buy.
Maybe we should just let Ubisoft cry moar about games with hours worth of activation and troubleshooting not selling well on PC. OH, WOE IS THEM!
Can't even remember the last Ubisoft game I played.
what the fuck ubisoft
i'm going to lol when the console games are up on torrent sites a week before launch.
