And it will come with 4-Player splitscreen.
This seems to be coming together nicely!Due out later this year, what I’ve seen so far already feels solid. And most importantly, after that peculiar false start, it feels incredibly Serious Sam. Running backwards, cursing at how long your gun takes to reload, darting sideways to dodge the galloping skeletons as you spin around and blast your shotgun at their rears, you know exactly which game you’re playing. Croteam remembers how to do it.
And it will come with 4-Player splitscreen.

Played three maps of this. Seems a little linear in spots, but not much more than the indoors areas in the previous games. TONS of enemies to fight all at once, and every bit as challenging as its predecessors.

It'll probably go down pretty fast because it doesn't have CoD plastered on the box art if you'd prefer to wait.
Yeah that was my plan tbh... I didn't buy the first ones untill they went for €5-10 on steam for the HD + old ones...unnamednewbie13 wrote:

You really missed out on the first ones, then, because they were hyper-populated on PC when first released.
Yeah... Don't really like the multiplayer tbh, no doubt part of that is the fact noone plays it anymore, but I prefer HL:DM or UT for old-school multiplayerunnamednewbie13 wrote:

DM/TDM wasn't Serious Sam's forte. Having a ton of players on the huge campaign maps in coop mode was. Also made all the sweeter at LAN parties when you could poke fun at buddies who holed up in a corner with a minigun blasting harpies and biting their lip...nevermind the hundred alien bulls converging on their location.
Coop's also old school, considering Doom had it.

Sven CO-OP had all my COOP attention in those days I guess, did the non HD SS games even have coop?unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Yes. It was, in fact, the primary attraction.
This was a game worth waiting for. Even at normal difficulty, it's tough. Good sign that the newer FPS's have been babying me too much. Spoiler (highlight to read):
The first ship boss is chewing me up and spitting me out with all the kamikazes it's throwing my way.

Apparently the game has some rather refreshing DRM
