Alright, sorry for being a bother, but I just got SF and was wondering: when I play SF will my 'vanilla' stats update whenever I qualify for an award and vice versa?

Also, why do you call it vanilla?

vanilla means 'unadorned', i.e. the basic flavour.

yes, SF stats do count as general stats.

Vanilla icecream is regarded as being 'plain' iccream, therefore 'plain' Bf2 is vanilla.

yeah i know, I never really got it either.

Yes, SF stats are included with BF2 stats, like knife kills etc. You can earn ribbons/medals but NOT class combat badges. Instead you earn SF class combat badges.

No your can earn both class combat badges. Ive seen screen shots of people getting Expert Sniper on Devils Perch.

But when playing regular BF2 I'm assuming they don't count for SF?

no, you don't get sf badges by playing vanilla, but you DO get times (e.g. time as assault class) and so forth added.

Pretty much you can win ALL awards in SF(except aviator ribbon, badges, and medal). But you CAN NOT earn SF awards in BF2.
