Plastic money lasts easily longer than that. So much so that if you want to destroy a note, you have to go at it with a pair of scissors or throw it into a microwave.

Always thought "In God We Trust" was a stupid quote for a constitutionally secular nation but I guess I shouldn't comment given that our national anthem is "God Defend New Zealand".
