- Anybody still waiting for their pre-order to arrive?
lol pre-order
I'm scared of pre-ordering these days... Seems like most tripple-A titles arrive without having been tested at all
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
You don't even need to add "also" to that... Bethesda games are not exactly known for being polishedTimmmmaaaaH wrote:
Amazingly, Battlefield 3 is not one of these games. If Skyrim is also not buggy and broken then the world is probably over.FloppY_ wrote:

What's funny, it's just convenient...Ryan wrote:

Also as in "both the battlefield and elder scrolls games this year would not be their usual shitty/buggy selves"FloppY_ wrote:

I'm still waiting.
My pre-order from game.co.uk has been shipped on 26th, but with the weekend and a holiday tomorrow, I only expect it at end of this week.

Waiting days after release for the mailman to bring your copy is convenient? (not that it happens all the time)jord wrote:

I picked up my copy the day it came out, no waiting around son.
You also suggested we rent PC games, your opinion is irrelevantRyan wrote:

My pre-ordered copy arrived at 9am on release day so it worked out fine for me
Mine has been posted on the 25th from play.com, I expect it to arrive at a similar time.globefish23 wrote:

I´m so excited to get it, I checked my mailbox when I got home at midnight yesterday, even though I checked it twice during the day already

Fucking Qantas.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
Mine came on time and it was more convenient than going into town and buying it at a store.Ryan wrote:

I haven't bought a game at a shop for like... at least 3 years.
Mine arrived at 9am on release day, after being pre-ordered a little over 6 months earlier _b
A few people in these parts have been receiving standard edition keys in limited ed boxes, and the only pre-order fuckup I'm aware of is one retailer not doing their job properly.

I live in a small city so I suppose it's just easier for me to go and pick it up. If I lived in a large city, then yea I agree with you.jord wrote:

Here in Austria:
Retail LE: 50€
Origin LE pre-order: 60€
Retail LE+PWP import from the UK including shipping: 38€
I would be a fool if I did it any other way.
Also, when importing games from the UK, I can be sure that my version is uncensored and has the original English voices.
Very often (especially a few years back) publishers were too lazy to make a separate version for Austria (and probably other German speaking countries), thus we got the awful German censored versions.
Which basically meant that a private corporation from the USA enforces German law on Austrian citizens.
