Problem is though, you have to look away from the enemy. You don't know if the tank that was stalking you just hit a mine.

But it works no matter what vehicle you're in, even if your a passenger or gunner.

getting a new screen this week for my xbox.

Any different between a Samsung 1080p computer monitor and a Samsung 1080p tv screen? The PC monitor is cheaper. They both have HDMI inputs.

I want to play on the screen from PC distance (21.5'' screen) so about 2-3 feet. Any different between a TV and PC monitor?

Well, you'll be stuck at a FOV of about 60 since you're using a console.

Not sure if it is a modifiable setting on the xbawks, but I doubt it.

What about audio? Does anything need to go to the monitor or could I just plug a turtle beach into the xbox and be set?

Really don't want to spend the extra money on a Tv screen, but then I'd have to spent it on converters and cables and junk for the xbox->PC monitor if I can't use an easy audio hook up system.

If you have the red/white/yellow cables, two of those are audio and one is video. The HDMI will do the video fine (not sure if the xbox will carry sound from it also - I dont own an xbox).

Your XBOX 360 package box should have the above audio cable that has a red and white audio out on it, so plug in a R/W audio to 3.5mm into the monitors speakers or into any set of speakers really.

I won't use speakers, I'll use a headset, does that change anything?

Xbox 360 - HDMI - PC monitor
Xbox 360 - turtle beach audio cable - turtle beach

Both are at Costo, I've only got a link to the TV though. PC monitor was also a 21.5'' 1080p but it was 40 dollars cheaper. Both Samsung

think this is the pc monitor actually, says it's no longer available but there were some at costo Friday night.

*E I have the latest xbox 360, black, and 250GB HDD, the cables don't block each other and the port design is new.

*E2: is looking at a PC monitor that's 1080p and a TV 1080p the same thing if I use it up close like a PC screen? ~3ft

All you need to do is remove the bullshit plastic casing around the plug then you can use the HDMI>TV and AV>X11's
