Fuck it.
I've been to Fabric. It was one of the best nights out I've had, but some of us don't live in London or live a student lifestyle where going out every week is easy/the norm. If I could go to more DnB venues, I would. I've been out to 'liquid/oceana/propaganda' about twice in the last year.
I listen to podcasts, I listen to mixes. I prefer Nero etc. over shitty Xfactor factory clones and will take anything that is more my taste as a small victory.

I just dislike the whole elitist vibe of 'it's either "genuine dance music" or an "embarrassing hangover"'.
People can enjoy what they want, there are no rules about what is good or not, that's just like, your opinion, man.

you ask for "halloween dubstep" like it's a readymade genre or niche or something. like in a dubstep "appreciation" thread genuine fans are going to take you seriously when you ask for examples of tracks that essentially trivialize and self-parodise the genre. dude just download a generic skrillex mix you know that's what your brodinskis are basically asking for. something with spooky string samples and some huge dumb heavy-metal drop.

it's like going into a rock appreciation thread and saying "christmas themed rock songs! go!". it's hardly credible.
