Yes. Perhaps I'd be able to find my way around it
I've tried that before on an old server and trust me, it's much more fun to let the city grow naturally. That being said, I think it'd be sweet to have two cities in the server and would definitely pitch in with the new oneJay wrote:
Does anyone have interest in starting a new city with better organization? Roads, standardized plot size etc
I always wondered who Togs was. Didn't know if I should say hi or if it was one of the people not from BF2s
If we can convince naturn to put the map back up i can start the surveying.

It's Minecraft. Since you can only build in one cubic meter segments, it's kind of pointless to specify lot size, Instead, I'd recommend a highway project and let the side roads grow on their own.
Its kinda hard to have a highway that leads to nowhere. If we had two relatively large cities with a highway between them, then yes side roads will grow on their own.

Pick a direction and zealously build a road in the direction. Build it and the will come!

Fuck me, exploring that cave is going to take days. And lots of trips back to the house full of iron ore.
The abandoned mineshafts are good like that. You'll find all kinds of good stuff down there and plenty of it. Just keep an eye out for creepersssssFinray wrote:

I agree with jsnipy. The roads don't necessarily have to be 100%. They can just be set with markers, then filled in once there's buildings to justify them.jsnipy wrote:

Yeah, there's tonnes of sheep around the entrance to the one I've found. From the actual entrance to where I took the first screenshot is about 20 seconds, it's a mad, awesome cave.jsnipy wrote:
