He never used the term "severe question" or anything similar. In fact, he didn't explicitly discount anthropogenic climate change as a factor.

We don't know everything about how the atmosphere works = climate change isn't man made ?
We don't have a complete fossil record = evolution isn't true ?
There's institutions and labs and scientists the world over who agree man has had a negative impact towards climate change. If the counter argument to the facts is that not all facts are known you might as well discount everything.
