So the only "downside" to this compared to some other sources is that while you get the Back to Karkard pack, you won't get the Physical Warfare pack...yet...but that is released for free to everyone before year's end anyway?
So you would essentially be paying 18 dollars more for the Physical Warfare pack early, if you buy through Origin? Dumb.

Physical warfare pack is just stuff you can unlock anyway, I think.
Meh... I'm still waiting for them to remove that cancerous tumor called origin...

I dont mind origin if it works as Steam (maybe for more reasonable prices) but I do mind that stupid-fail browser launcher. Who the hell got that genius idea?FloppY_ wrote:

Problem is Origin doesn't work as steam, it's a rootkit/spyware AND it's controlled by EA who like to fuck every customer over when they can.legionair wrote:

I guess DICE gave up on in-game server browsers, they haven't made a working one for a long time...

Lol, Origin conspiracy!!!
I laugh at everyone who refuses to install Origin.
So what that it sucks. It's a minor inconvenience with no impact that REALLY matters.

The EULA is pretty shady though in terms of the amount of information they claim to gather with it.
I thought it WAS shady, then people bitched, so they cleared it up to say they only collect info regarding Origin and it's games, like pretty much any other program of the same type.
It's still not 100% clear...FFLink wrote:

Besides, a bigger problem is the fact that EA will suspend your entire Origin catalog if you are unlucky / a cheater
They even said recently that they would suspend accounts of people who had joined BF3 Beta servers that were modded to higher playercounts.. that's absurd, especially since there is an "auto-join" function that could put you on those servers by accident...
Not to mention that one guy who complained on the BioWare forums a while back and got access to all his games removed...
Not to mention the standing 24 month account idle limit after which EA will remove ALL your Origin games...
EA is a disgrace, and they keep screwing over the people that keep them in business again, and again...
Another thing completely, is the fact that if EA has success with Origin, all other developers will try the same and we will need dozens of clients installed to play our libraries of games -.-

So, it's Steam's fault then for making such a concept profitable.
I trust Valve, as a company, a whoooooooooooooooooooooooole lot more than I trust EA...Ilocano wrote:

The only BS I've ever had with valve was them denying a refund...
EA has done nothing but fuck gaming over since the mid-90s
