I never thought is even consider buying an alienware product due to the price, but as far as laptops go has anyone here had any experience with them?

I'm asking as i can get this for 1500 aus dollars brand new, which is about 1100 us dollars.

thats not an issue as it will be mainly used for at home or for a lan at a mates house.
