Rules such as "No raping uncapped bases" are made for people who need these rules to help them play. I really don't understand how people can play with such handicapped rules. Saying you can't do this and you can't do that. I won't let anyone tell me how to play. That is why I usually stick to servers who don't have such silly rules. Our server only has one rule. Kill the other peeps before they kill you.

If you don't like these rules on ranked servers, then rent your own unranked server so you can do whatever the fuck you like on it.
So conclusion is: DICE likes mainbaseraping. Otherwise they would have put 3 Stingers 4 Tows and more than 3 f'ing spawnpoints in the mainbase. I would have put a ub3r-defense-gun inside the mainbase.

It's not fun if you get baseraped or spawnraped, but there are easy solutions to avoid these things - just spawm somewhere else and do something against these guys.

With this rule you give the USMC a lot of room to move and surround the MEC and therefore making kills easier. It's the same like saying: "MEC, pls dont attack the USMC and be prepared to get raped."
Our squad played as MEC on Karkand Yesterday. We went up straight up to the USMC Spawn and had a lot of fun killing these guys, after a while the whole MEC Team followed and the USMC could only spawn at gasstation. We won the round with a 100+ ticketlead.
An other example is Sharqi Peninsula. How many times does it happen that the MI-28 rapes the TV Station and after it's capped the whole USMC? I would say quite often. Base raping: common i mean what am i supposed to do when i am near their flag or uncapturable flag and someone from the other team spaws and sees me: "Just say hi to them".yeah he will say hi to me by shooting me with his ak-101. Here is the thing of base raping prohibitation: The ADMNS bans or kicks everyone who does it but guess what, if you are in a clan server, they let their clanmates base rape but you cant if you are not in their clan.
They can spawn kill, and you pay the price if you are not in their clan and you spawn kill. In other words.. ................HYPOCRISY!!!!!!!!!
Here is a stupid rule that i got banned for----------"Capturing flag and at the same time killing someone from the other team will get you banned" I mean what do you want me to do, let him shoot me first.
Another rule.... "stealing vehicles will get you kicked" I mean what am i supposed to do when my team has a severly damaged tank.. There is no way in hell i am going to wait for anotther tank in my base to spawn. Shoot ill get the other people tank in their main base assuming that its not taken.
But there is some legit rules that are out there like : NO RACIST COMMENTS, or NO TRASH TALKING.

I think it's quite simple: BF2 is a game; games have rules; if you don't like rules don't play games.
Now we all know of servers with rules that are actually against the ROE and some of these rules are just plain silly "no jumping to avoid enemy fire" etc. but they pay for the server so they're entitled to decide some of what you can and can't do when you pay there as a guest so if they say no attacking of uncapables then that's what you should do. Lots of choice for anyone that doesn't like this.
Now I think some of what's in the ROE is silly too but that's another day's discussion.

The worst one is Krackhouse Wake 2007...NO DRIVING TO THE AIRFIELD?? wtf? I drove through it once, in a FAV, on my way from the north half of the island to the south half of the island, and took a detour through the airfield to run down some enemies, and the server KICKED ME. that ticked me off, severely.
Lets take away the multiple ammo loads of the choppers & LAVs and make the reloading times closer to what they'd be in real life for all vehicles. Make the vehicles head back to base or an ammo dump to reload as well. Then the base raping will be greatly reduced, as the vehicle whores don't live as long in their little protective shells...[83rd]Stecchino wrote:

Yah I just got kicked from Warhawks server map Warlord cause I blew up there satelite and Radar dish. Then they said I was camping their uncapturable. I came back into the server went sniper placed a couple c4 on the TV station start heading for the hideout and the next thing I know I am banned. What the hell is wrong with these servers, I just dont get it. I have been playing on that server on a daily basis for about 2 monthes and never had 1 problem till now. EA needs to just do away with non capables completely!

Thing is? Spawning at conc site and hotel gives you 2 apcs and a tank, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO everyone wants a piece of the jets, so good for me, i'm getting more kills, sucks to be you, you refuse to spawn at any other flag but the airfield and get capped back to the uncap.

i was on a server 2day and a rule was "dont capture their main base"

If the servers with rules would just ban me instead of kicking me I would be extremely happy, because I would not have to worry about returning to there server, EA should do away with the kick feature and only have the Ban feature, that way admins may think twice about kicking when they find out there will be no more good players on there server
