A simple cable outage. You have to login to an online server before you can even play single player. How rediculous.

Sure its geared for online play but damn, I pay 50 bucks for something and i cant even play it when im bored out of my mind when the cable is out from thunderstorms. Talk about an utterly poor design in the game.

I think it's the same place as online accounts, but you check a box for offline.

lol karma whore. I just wanna hit ten, I have my own personal reason for that.

EDIT: Thx for neg. And in case you're too blind to notice, I DID deserve the karma. But I guess some people think that my life somehow intrudes upon theirs...

start bf2 click manage accounts (bottom left corner)
click create account ( bottom right corner)
now change account from multi to single

It's a warning not to give the "Karma Whore" any + karma if he's right. I don't want any anyways, I got ten now

Actully, you can unplug your LAN cable, start BF2, create offline account, log in, plug cable back in. It worked real well at our LAN party with no internet. Give it a shot.

thank you I had problems with my leadtek 6800 gt : it crashed once in a while (thats my 3rd rma with that card ) so I decided to get the promotion then send the card to leadtek for the replacement after because I knew I could not play without it (9200 for the moment and it runs but everything on low with 30 fps). so I stopped for a moment after my promotion and Ill go back when I receive the replacement...

dont give up, you will get officer also
